Right To Play UK

Right To Play UK is part of Right To Play International, the world's leading Sport for Development organisation which uses the transformative power of sport and play to build essential skills in children and youth, and thereby drive social change in communities affected by war, poverty and disease. Right To Play creates a safe place for children and youth to learn and fosters the hope that is essential for them to envision and realise a better future. Working in 18 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, Right To Play actively promotes the interests of the most marginalised children and young people including girls, persons with disabilities, children affected by HIV and AIDS, street children and refugees. Working directly with local partners Right To Play trains volunteer Coaches to deliver regular sport and play activities to children and youth, under four core themes including education, health, conflict resolution and peace building, and community participation. Child protection, gender and inclusion are cross-cutting themes across all Right To Play programmes. Most of Right To Play UK's income is from corporate partners and individual donations and grants.
